Extreme Future Dr James Canton

17-Apr-2012

Now we are talking “Extreme Future”

In my quest for information about the workplace of the future, I came across an Author and Business Visionary in Dr James Canton Ph.D.

It appears that Dr Canton is something of a leader in this field who has for over 30 years been insightfully predicting the key trends that have shaped our world.

As if the near future wasn’t enough, Dr James Canton has authored a book about the extreme future, titled “The Top Trends That Will Reshape the World in the 21st Century”.

I am yet to read his book but be assured it is on my reading list!  While the book is looking at America in the extreme future, our own history in Australia has been so closely tied to American development I think we can be sure that some if not all will have some degree of relevance.

Looking at the list below, the workforce certainly features at number 3 but the impact on jobs and the workplace from the other 9 on the list remains the source of my own curiosity.

For now, let me share with you Dr Canton’s top ten.
